Stevns Klint Trampesti (and surroundings) – 42km from Rødvig to Køge

Last week I was invited for a trail run through the Stevns Klint Trampesti. Martin Köppä has organized the event and prepared the route that we should follow (around 42km). We were 5 people meeting at Rødvig, on the 25th of January at 9:30: Dennis Clemmensen, Martin Köppä, Peter Jensen, Tracy Høeg and I. It took me a while for me to get there from Østerbro, almost 2 hours of...

Møns Klint – 11th January 2014

After a long time out, without being able to run, I’m finally getting back slowly. It feels good to be able to run outside again, enjoy the nature and good company. Saturday, the 11th of January, Peter Jensen, Mads Blume, Christoffer Friman and I went for a run at Møns Klint. The main objective has to get some high meters and spend some hours running outside.

Winforce 100km – Race Report

Saturday, the 17th of August I’ve ran the Winforce 100, which is a 100km trail run that happens in Odsherred, Denmark. A very nice thing about this race is that it is non-profitable. will donate all the profits to a danish institution called TUBA, which takes care of children whose parents are alcoholics and/or drug addicts. The 100km are split in 4 laps into a 25km course. Each lap...

Trail in Middelfart – Hindsgavl Slot and Surroundings

Last week I had 2 days off and we went to Båring visiting Maibritt‘s parents. My mom is also visiting so it was a nice chance to show her a bit of Fyn. Maibritt and I went for a run in some very nice trails around Hindsgavl Slot (Middelfart). There are some nice single-trail stretches with some good steep hills. The area is also quite beautiful.

Winforce 100 – 50km training

I went for a run to try the Winforce 100 route, which I’ll be running in August. Maibritt and I got a ride with Mads Nimann Jensen and we arrived there around 8:30AM. It rained the day before and the day was quite cloudy, chilly and with little rain. We all met at the start point, which is in a parking place in Odsherred, close to the beach (Højbjergvej, Ordrup,...

Salomon Hammer Trail 2013 – 50 Miles

Salomon Hammer Trail is considered as the hardest trail run in Denmark and it happens in the the Danish island of Bornholm (in the hardest part of it). I’ve chosen to run the 50 miles distance this year, since I considered this distance to match my current shape and the kilometers I could put in my legs during the last 4 months or so. There are several distances, from 25km...

Last Saturday, the 27th of October 2012, I’ve participated on my first ultra run. The event is called CPH 6 hour run and it happens in Vallensbæk (Copenhagen Area). Challenge Copenhagen 2012

On the 12th of August of 2012, I’ve been through my first Full Ironman distance triathlon, after 10 months of hard training focusing on this event. I had already participated in a Half Ironman distance and I have been also running marathons for ~2 years, but I had never done anything close to this.

Øresunds Triathlon 2012

1st of July 2012, I’ve been crossing my fingers the whole week for good weather. The weather forecast was not very promising though. I’ve been checking my mobile phone almost every hour expecting that suddenly it would show that there would be good weather on Sunday.

Emacs PredictiveAbbreviation (pabbrev) – Smart Autocompletion

I’m an Emacs user and although I like it very much, sometimes it requires quite a bit of digging and tweaking to get the features you need and make them work as you want. I’ve been willing to have this feature in Emacs for quite a while, but never had the time to search for the dependencies and make it work within my .emacs. Finally I’ve found some good guidelines...

Download a public photo gallery from Dropbox

Today I’ve received a link to a public Dropbox photo gallery. I wanted to download all the pictures without having to click on them one by one. Doing a little search I found that someone had already solved this problem with a simple Bash Shell Script. I’ve tested it and it works pretty well.
